For those that use couriers often, how often do you get reports of damaged goods and do you make claims?

Proportionally i've not had 'that' many bad experiences with them over the years, but i recently sold a member a psu which judging from the post-delivery pictures he sent me looks like the courier took a detour via the olympic stadium where a rogue javelin was thrown through it, causing something to become loose inside the psu itself. Warranty is void if you open it up, yet it was packaged in its proper foam protected case and box.

How the hell do these things happen?
How the hell can couriers be so inept (at times)?

My very first pc arrived all properly boxed, but with such a dent in the case that the metal actually ripped and the gfx card was torn from its slot (AGP, back in the day).

So, anyway i've made a claim on the damaged psu, but they take up to a month to sort it out!!!

That...is crap!

What's your experience/opinions on them?
