What on earth is 'CPL Nub' meant to mean?

I was playing CSS the other day, doing ok, slightly positive K/D take out this one guy and he called me a CPL Nub.

I just can't quite figure out what it is meant to mean?

I know what CPL and Nub mean on their own, but together they just don't make sense in my head

CPL? My wife works for a company called CPL. Excuse the n00b (right?), but what does CPL mean?

means you are a 'CPL wannabe'

There, wasn't that hard, was it? :p

Right :/

I have strong suspicions the guy calling me that was more of a wannabe than I am - I only play a couple of times a month :P

It's probably said when someone thinks you are taking the game too seriously (i.e. your style of play.. dragging out rounds or he wanted a knife fight etc.) or you just killed him.

Although, in the majority, that intellectual level of CSS player has done well. Either that or he luckily hit those keys at random forming some sort of phrase.

I wouldnt try and understand the dribble that comes from public CSS players.

He will have been insulting the fact you were being careful and slow, and the you probably died. Thats what I assume.

CPL is a professional tournament where the top players play for big money and thats how they play. He'll have been insulting the fact you did it on a public server.

Couldn't be more wrong :p

My play was not remotely slow and careful - I just go full on 'Rambo' most of the time I play!
