When I did my training it was on a dummy in front of a room full of girls when I was 16 (I was the only guy).

The experience scarred me for life, slightly.

It covered the basics but I would have preferred to see them go into a little more depth.

Amusing, however chest compressions only have been shown to have a much greater success rate than mouth to mouth cpr and is the official recommendation of the AHA.

I was still taught to do both though and my training through Hampshire Police was only a month or two ago.

Because the ILCOR only revise every 5 years they haven't updated their guidelines, they are due to do so later this year.
