CPU AIO cooler

Hey All,

I have came across this AIO cooler and wondered if its any good?

CORSAIR Hydro CW-9060010-WW H55 120 mm CPU Cooler

can pick it up for £39.99 as on offer for bank holiday.

my current CPU cooler is this

just wondering if people think its worth the upgrade?

I would imagine performance would be pretty similar so in terms of temps it's probably not worth the upgrade, you can't beat the look of a nice AIO water cooler for the price though - they look awesome in a windowed case.

i am going to be getting a windowed case at some point as ive got some really old 12 year old case housing everything lol.

was thinking of noise reduction too as another reason to get one

Not worth it imo as the Akasa Venom is a good cooler. I'd only change it when it starts to struggle with any overclocks or new CPU.

Budget end aio are worse than top end air coolers

Only the double rad ones for cpus are worth the upgrade like the h100i etc.

I agree, I have a H55 and it's worse than my £20 air cooler. As said above, I wouldn't bother unless you are getting a top end one

With H55, you probably wont't see an improvement compared to what you currently have right now.. H80i will most likely give you that upgrade and noise reduction you're looking for.

think ill pass, have been looking at the H80i and 100i but saw this and thought if it would be any good.

ill save up for one of the others instead then
