CPU air cooler silent

Hey all,

I ve been out of the loop for a while and I need a slient air CPU cooler for a new build.

Is an old 939 build (from spare parts I got) and it has to be silent but cool it down "well enough". PC will be used for music/video/browsing etc.

I plan on an antec 300 case to keep it nice and compact.

All suggestions very welcome!

I use a sunbeam Core Contact Freezer minus the fan so its completly silent on the pc in the front room. CPU AMDx2 2.8ghz max temp for browsing and video work 50c happy days :D
 
The old faithfull Ninja II Rev B is also worth a look - even the TRUE will work as a passive cooler, especially it you'll be using the 300's case fans

Not the best case for a quiet build btw, but is value for money, might get something better on MM for the same money
 
the scyhte mugen 2 is a good silent cooler, the fan that comes with it is near inaudible and ive also managed to run it passively with my cpu at 3.6ghz. also it should fit in an antec 300 as it used to be in my 900.
