Cpu air cooler

After an upgrade to my a50 looking to spend around £30 what kind of options do I have?

The Corsair A50 is a decent CPU cooler. A new ~£30 CPU cooler is not going to be a worthwhile upgrade.

If you want an upgrade then I would look at the large twin tower coolers which are out of your price range unfortunately.

More appropriate question would be which one one is not a decent cool.

I can't think of any that are not decent. Look them over and pick out what you like, than ask us if it's any good.

gets my vote, looks awesome too

Although the Sb-e may have problem fitting in the case as its over 170mm tall, but I dont know what max height the Z9 can take

It should fit but it's an expensive cooler for what it is. I'd be looking at a Thermalright HR-02 Macho if you don't want to spend a lot. Otherwise, if you want to spend more, the Alpenfohn K2.

The Z9 can cope with coolers up to around 165mm tall. Ideally you want a cooler around 160mm tall.

Yes,

If your thinking of getting a noctua cooler the d14 is amazing

At only 159mm tall it will easily fit most cases.. Installation is easy and temps are super good, talking from personal experience.

Any reason why you are not interested in a LC? OCUK have some factory refurbed H60 and H80 for your budget.

Refurbed one that seem to be plagued with issues and still won't outperform a good air cooler
