I've no idea how you'd break it so are are you talking about the backplate fitted to the CPU socket?
Or do you mean the backplate for a specific CPU cooler?
He mentions stock, I assume the back plate which keeps the lotus mounting thing in place.
He mentions stock as in inventory not stock as in standard.
I did think it's the one you're referring to but I find it difficult to fathom how you'd break it.
FYI it's Lotes not Lotus.
how did you break that? only way would be to buy a damaged donar board and unscrew it

Directly linking to images on other sites that are not expressly for that purpose (known as Hotlinking) is not permitted. Hotlinked images will be removed with an infraction notice issued. Repeat offenders will be suspended. The sharing of images from your own personal web-space is acceptable providing you are the owner and give permission to do so. However, the OCUK moderation team reserve the right to replace or remove any image that is suspicious of being hotlinked or unknowingly hosted by a members personal web-space, as it is not possible to identify those where permission has been granted or otherwise. No watermarks or URLs for sites containing content that wouldn't normally be allowed such as competitors, adult sites etc. Any images of such nature will be removed and your account immediately suspended or banned. Unless otherwise agreed by the moderation team, images must no wider than 1024 pixels wide.
You've broken one of the fittings on the CPU cooler backplate not the CPU socket backplate (which is the silver coloured one you can see underneath).
I wasn't sure which one you meant.
You'll likely have to contact the manufacturer of the cooler for a replacement.
FYI hotlinking to images isn't allowed:
Look on fleebay,I've seen 1155 universal backplates for around £3
