i'm changing from socket 1366 to sandybridge 1155 and i have an ek supreme hf full nickel cpu block.will it fit the 1155 straight off or will need a different fitting?

ek fits from 775 up to 1366 and everything in between.
this includes the 1156/1155 socket layout.
it will fit without a doubt. you may need a specific backplate if you currently use one as the pre 1156 blocks did not come with one as far as i can remember.
