I agree with you on FC3...but for Hitman, I thought the poor performance is more to do with crap GPU usage utilization? It is most of the time, Hitman is very demanding with all the IQ set to max, but it's probably looking for a new cap(which isn't going to happen this week due to the thanksgiving holiday).
FC3 is probably going to be the same too.
A single 7970 is going to do the job as well, just not capable of max IQ in a scant few titles at high fps.
My suggestion was more along the lines of saving a whack of cash as it looks like he has an upgrade itch.![]()

Ingame Steroscopic 3D with CrossFire(AF:trilinear) is very poor though:

Scaling@35% is pathetic in 3D![]()
Off topic, but I bought a B-grade Samsung S23A700D over the weekend. Quite happy with it so far, but in 2D to 3D mode the brightness become a bit dim. The 2D to 3D isn't the greatest or perfect, but still happy about being able to watch my 2D videos in the "sort of" 3DI haven't tried it in single gpu mode, but 1080p CrossFireX is ok, but yes the gpu utilization could be a lot better marine:
Whether the devs fix it in a patch or AMD/Nvidia get more from it who knows.
No not yet. Didn't think I would bother with my 5850...or should I?Have you tried Tridef yet?

Sorry to OP for off-topic again. You should, remember that you switch off all AA in 3D, you may be surprised.
If performance tanks, try power 3D(game dependant performance gains) in the Tridef ingame hotkey settings.
If that's still a no go, then you change output to SBS.
Sorry to the op for going a bit ot.
