Hi
I have a "garanteed" to run at xxx Ghz from Overclockers, I had it for sometime but now I can't get it over 333FSB. Voltage looks to be enough, tried different powersupply units with a trusty thermaltake 700watt, got another mobo and changed the RAM still does the same thing. The only thing left is the CPU, looking at the surface it has a few dints from when the heatsink pin came out, all looks okay through.

I will be taking the CPU,the maxumise 2 and OCZ platuim to a computer shop for Dionostics. personly I think its the CPU, its the only thing I have not replaced.

specs are
maxumise 2 formular and rampage formular
Q6600 oc edition(yeah right )
2x512 radeon HD4870
4Gb OCZ PC8500+ platuim and OCZ 4Gb reapers
2*seagate SATA2 on raid
tagan/abs 1100watt BZ piperock/thermaltake 700watt tough power

thanks

What was the memory speed running at, you might need to adjust the memory ratio/multiplier.

What speed was your chip guaranteed to run at.

3.3Ghz it don't even run at that stable, memory is at the ratio of 5:4 for 1066, funny thing is I had the CPU and RAM since October and had it runing happy at 400FSB, now I can't get it past 333, the memory speed makes no difference to what I can see, I even tried new RAM.
