Evening everyone :)

Need A Bit Of Help

I Have Just Got My ASUS Z87 Hero And Core I7 4771 and am looking for a decent cooler for it, I am NOT overclocking Just want Decent stock temps and am trying to build my new system fairy quiet.

Iv been Looking for agaesssss tonight at diff coolers from diff manufacturers (am writing this and going to go to bed hehe as i have a headache now from sifting through so meany reviews)

from what i can tell most of them are Stupidly big and intrude on the RAM slots, I would like a cooler so i can pref use RAM like the corsair vengeance ect, I am open to low profile RAM if that's what I Have To Do for decent temps with a CPU cooler

Originally I Was Going to get a corsair h100i as i have never done ANY water cooling of any sort, but started to read a few horror story's about some leaking ekkkkkkkkk so i dunno what to do anymore

Basically peeps Help
Thank You In Advanced Everyone :):):):):):):)

You won't need a H100i if you don't overclock. The coolers have very few issues, and Corsair sorts em out nicely for you. Don't fear the AiO's.

You could get a cheaper version, such as the H80i or the H105 instead. It will be quiet and won't intrude the RAM slots. H100i is way too powerful if you won't OC, a waste of money.

The k2 will fit grand on the Z87 Maximus VI hero. It's identical in layout to the formula board im using. The stock fans are pretty decent too, not very loud even at full speed.

Thought id better elaborate on my last post

Ment it as a bit of a joke, just my opinion of course but seriously no way am i putting
a stock cooler on my CPU

it fine I was just saying, some folks prefer a quieter pc and an aftermarket cooler would give you that over a stock cooler, plus with a backplate its easier to attach/remove than those horrid pushpins

but if your a penny pinching git like me then the stock cooler is fine if your just running cpu at stock clocks,it will handle the temps well
