CPU cooler needed for Phenom II.

The problem i have had in the past with amd mainboards is that some larger type air coolers won't fit if you have high heatsinks on ram modules.

My Fenrir vents to the back of the case.

With an AMD chip?
I thought they blew up with AMD and sideways with Intel, although the Intel might do either.

Not if u use the back plate. also depend on the original socket orientation - from what i was led to believe.
