Hi people i bought the Titan onyx Intel Core i7 930 @4Ghz system from oc.uk about 5 weeks ago which is great and i love it :) i am a computer newbie and i dont know a lot sadly lol. anyway to the point i have been having an unusal problem on a few occasions when i booted my pc up it would tell me overclocking profile failed and would not start several times , then it did start as normal eventually , this has happened a couple of times but never when playing a game or browsing the net only on restart or when the pc went on standby. i know this is not a terriblle problem but i opened my case just to check to see if cooling looked ok but when i looked at the Prolimatech Megahalem w/ Akasa Viper 120mm Fan it was bent and leaning to the right which i found weird, as in the heatsink towers( as i call them ) are not level and close to each other like some pictures of the heatsink i have seen, they're about a 1 cm off and the fan is not sitting right as its closer to one side of the heatsink instead of being in the middle. i called overclockers and they said i should just take the fan off and bend it back into place myself, since i am a newbie i was worried and thought this might not sound correct, i would appreciate any feedback from u pro's
thanks a million.

Sounds like it has had a knock and really the heatsink should be removed and replaced.
Can you post a picture or two.

If the heatsink itself is bent, this is not a newbie job, if it is just the fan, it should not be a problem..

andy.
