CPU cooler question

I am looking for the best cooler for noise and performance from my HTPC system.

The system is in my living room and I want it to be as quite as possible but also allow me to clock my Q6600 a small amount.

Noise and high been the main issues.

Cheaper the better, running standard supplied intel cooler

thoughts please?

The arctic Cooling Freezer 7 low profile is probably your best bet

Would it be easy to replace do I have to take out the motherboard?

Is there a way i can just replace the current fan on the stock cooler?

Motherboard can stay put, to remove the Stock heatsink twist the black tab's on each corner and pull up.

Have a look at the Scythe Shuriken Quiet Low Profile CPU Cooler. A bit dearer but is very good.
Use google as Overclockers dont stock it.
