hey everyone thanks for the help - the general word seems to be for the Nocuta so im going to go with that and pay the £10 extra when i get the refund on my h60

The K2 is just as good as the Noctua. It's fairly new hence why most people are recommending the more established NH-D14. Nothing wrong with the Noctua of course but the K2 is an alternative worth considering, especially at the price OCUK have it at.

D14 is the best air cooler I have ever owned, not only for performance but also ease of installation.

I can heartily reccomend the k2, the best cpu cooler ive ever owned, (and ive owned a fair few). Only installed it a few days ago. Glad that i took the plunge on it.
