Hi

I was playing Race Room Racing Experience last weekend. My PC was having no issues playing it, apart from the CPU fan going probably 100%. It's only the stock cooler.

I'm after upgrading to a much quieter cooler/fan or would just a heatsink do the job?

Current spec is:

- Corsair Carbide Series 300R case
- AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Desktop CPU
- Stock AMD CPU Cooler
- ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS
- EVGA SuperNOVA 650W PSU
- 64GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4 2400 MHz
- Palit GTX 760 2GB GDDR5
- 480GB SanDisk Ultra II Performance, 2.5" SSD
- 3x SATA HDD's
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

Thanks :)

You can adjust the fan curve in the bios so it doesn't run full speed till the CPU gets very hot, what temp is your CPU at when gaming?

If you want cool and quiet then this is a very good option and will be fine for an upgraded CPU in the future.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £55.69 (includes shipping: £8.70)
