I'm looking to replace the stock cooler on my AMD Phenom II X4 940 BE so I can overclock it. What cooler would you recommend me that is around the £40 or less price range? I like the look of the Coolermaster V8 but I know that came out quite a while ago now so is there any newer coolers that are better that that for around the same price?

Gelid Tranquillo, Corsiar A50/A70 or the Titan Fenrir Evo for air - all very good ranging from £25 to £35. (i personally think the Gelid is great value at £25.)

You could also consider the Corsair H50 (all in one water kit) - £39 at OcUK using the promotion code.

Thanks. Just a quick quesiton about using the promo code, can I use it when checking out with Paypal. I just bought a 6950 from here but I'm not sure I saw a place to enter a promo code.

It's fine now, it did work :). Shipping absolutely kills me though, came out at over 55 quid.

Unfortunately it doesn't apply to me anyway, even if I do rack up another 240 posts. Living on an Island (Isle of Man) can be a pain in the rear. I had actually cancelled the order, went to order on a site that offered free shipping only to realise shipping to here costs 10 quid making it cost a fiver more than here so I had to reorder from here. Ah well, can't wait for my H50 and my Asus 6950 to arrive!
