Hi. I have a Asus Z170-mother board with a i7 6700 4.0k. 16GB DDR4 2400hz RAM. If I set my bios to default and use XMP for the ram and manual OC my CPU to 4.5ghz in the core ratio section do you also after change anything else in the bios. Also is it better to sync all cores or per core?.

yes you need to set the voltage as well, on auto voltage it will be way too high and the cpu may overheat. yes you want to sync all the cores.
