CPU died

My i5 2500K has given up, I've had it since the first sandybridges came out and its been overclocked to run at 4.6ghz all this time and I leave my PC on for days at a time. I don't know if this is a normal lifespan for this type of CPU but I'm definitely happy with it.

Def older than 3 years i am guessing?
Retail chips come with 3 year warranty.

Mine died after 6 months
Had been pushing it quit high though for benching....5.5Ghz but ran at 4.8 rest of time.

Yeah I bought it in early 2011 so i'm just outside of my warranty.
