cpu fan connector (split)

Can you use a splitter cable on the cpu fan connector so your motherboard can control 2 fans at once through one connection?

I think you would be able to, but I'm asking the same question really as I'm thinking of doing this

as long as you don't exceed the current rating of the header, that would be fine

The manual that came with your motherboard will tell you, if you dont have it, the manufacters website will have a download version

I'm using the Akasa splitter aswell; great because it supports up to 3 PWM fans & has a molex connector if the fan header doesn't have enough power.
