Every time i boot my PC i get a screen showing 'CPU Fan error' prompting me to hit F1 to continue, slowing down my system startup and causing some minor annoyance. If anyone knows somthing that i can do to either disable this feature or some how fool the mobo into thinking the fan is working fine, could you please help.

I have my fan set to such a low speed it doesn't register in the bios as spinning at all ( but it is ( ; ).

Using an enermax cluster with a ASUS Formula III mobo.
Also intend to get a Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus Black when OCUK get some more stock in, so i assume i will also have the same issues when i set everything to run of that.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Technics.

Should be an option to not halt on CPU fan fail.

Usually an option in the screen of the BIOS where you can control your fans.

This used to happen with my old cpu cooler as it was a 3pin not 4pin socket for the fan, so my motherboard thought I didn't have a cpu cooler attached! Yes, just go into bios and that's where I found a setting to turn it off and avoid the warning.
