cpu fan error

hello,

i took the advise and purchased the cooler master hyper 212 evo, after installing i kept getting an error of CPU fan error and F1 to continue, the CPU temp is 27c and fan speed @ 530rpm.
isnt this too low? i ran real temp and ran the test, minimum temp was 27c and maximum was 59c.

what am i doing wrong? will the cpu be safe with the low fan speed.

motherboard is the asus pz68-v

It will be because the fan is PWM, it will ramp up when temps rise.

You can disable or adjust fan warnings in the bios on asus boards.

I had the same issue and just shut off the warning however I think you can adjust the min and maximum speed of the fan in the bios to avoid the issue.

ive disabled it via the bios,. set the min fan speed @ 400 so no warnings appear,
only issue i have is, will the cpu be ok, hope it doesn't cook it. with idle temp @ 27C, i suspect it will be ok?

Do a stress test to check load temp and worry about that if it gets bad.

Have the same issue and didn't realise you could adjust the settings for the fan in the BIOS, so thanks
