my cpu fan stops working at reboot and i have to spin it by hand to get it going again............ive just stuck a 650w truepower trio in there

i got an x2 3800+
asus a8n sli premium
1 x 7800 gt
2 gig ram
2 x 250gb sata 2
x-fi sound card

my old zalman fan started doing this with my old antec true power 2 so i swapped it for the fan the x2 shipped with and all was well untill i got this new psu (old psu blew)

is there some setting in the bios i can change to boost the volts or something
or does it sound like a fault with the board

i put my old thermaltake in here when i rma'ed the psu and it was fine!

i dont fancy cranking the cpu fan everytime i restart! has anyone else had this kind of problem!

standard cpu heat/sink fan thats supplyed with processor?

and is it linked to the mobo 3pin socket or is it into a speed fan ajuster (fan mate) or a 3 to 4 pin molex to the psu?

Yeah with Q-fan you can set the fan to kick in when yer CPU reaches a certain temp, it would have kicked in when it reached the temp it was set to. :)
