CPU fan

OK, i am about to transfer the spec in my sig over to my new case (HAF 922). I have a new motherboard (XFX 780i) and a new CPU heatsink (Thermalright 120 eXtreme).

However, im my current spec, i have an enermax cluster as a front intake fan that blows onto the heatsink (it is a dell XPS, well was).
I got a Scythe S-Flex SFF21F with the HSF.

I don't know which to use on the heatsink. I am after a good combination of quietness and cooling.

Any ideas?

also, could somebody tell me which way the Scythe S-Flex SFF21F intakes and which way it outakes please?

just plug it in and check its the best way to avoid putting in the wrong way or slicing your finger off
