780/780TI or 290 (pref. the green team) paired with an i7 all the way!

why not? that particular msi is on sale everywhere, as far as I can remember its always been the cheapest 780, at least the reference one looks classy

plus the reference does a good job at cooling unlike amds reference

You don't need a 4930K cpu for a gaming rig (Assuming it is just for gaming).
