I would appreciate if someone could tel me what speed this is as I am confused,

AMD FX 6300 Black Edition, Vishera, Six Core, AM3+, Clock 3.5GHz, Turbo 4.1GHz, 8MB L3 Cache, 95W, CPU, Retail

What I dont get is 3.5Ghz to 4.1 ghz ,what does that mean? How would it go from 3.5 ghz to 4.1ghz? Thank you.

it auto boosts to 4.1ghz when needed,gaming ect or heavy cpu demands

it will not do 4.1 on all 6 cores.
it go's in steps depending on the load.

No the stock cooler is not ok for 4.1ghz on 6 cores but its ok for 4.1ghz on 1 core as its designed to do
