Hi all,

My i7-2600k seems to sit between 40-50 idle. Isn't this very high? Mild overclock to 4.4Ghz with a Corsair H80 cooler. Case is an FT02B.

What are full load temps like, as this is the real test.

Also is your your CPU constantly at 4.2ghz or does this drop down?

Doesn't seem to drop much looking at it, even though minimum is 5% in power options.

Seems to go to around 60 under prime.

Full lod temps look fine.

I would not worry about idle temps, but have a look in the BIOS and see if the power saving options are enabled.

yeah

temps are normal for 4.2ghz constant, see what it downclocks to once you stop mining, should be high twenty/low thirty degrees

for 4.2ghz I would say yeah,im at 4.5ghz with 1.344v/2600k and that's with a so so clocking chip

for 4.2ghz I would aim around 1.25-1.28v

you need to use offset voltage, maybe medium llc and +0.015v cpu offset, then see what load cpu voltage is when stressing cpu
