CPU "Maximum Speed" after BIOS update

Hi,

I recently purchased a used Overclockers "Titan Envy M" from a family member. It's an I7 4770k pre-clocked to 4.2ghz on an Asus Gryphon Z87 board. It had the 'frozen clock' issue - so I updated the BIOS which was pretty out of date. The overclocking profiles are incompatible across BIOS versions, so I copied the 'OCUK' profile to the letter. The BIOS lists any changes when you save and exit, so I was able to double check the settings were exactly the same as before. Everything worked fine, including the clock - but I noticed one small difference in task manager. Before the update, it listed the CPU as 3.5ghz, with a 'maximum speed' of 4.2ghz. However, the 'maximum speed' has now dropped to 3.5ghz. CPU-Z shows the chip topping out at 4.199ghz - (4.17ghz in task manager) - so I'm pretty sure it's running as it should be. So why the change in 'maximum speed'? More curiosity than anything else :)

Thanks in advance
