Ive managed to get a QX6850 extreme cheep and am thinking of paring it with a striker extreme mobo,
What I want to do is use 2 ASUS 8800GT cards but not in SLI so I can instance 3 instances of a game I play as well as put that instance onto a seperate monitor.
TBH what im really after are ideas for a mobo that I can put the chip into as well as have both the cards in and running in 16x mode for the memory bandwidth of the graphics cards.
So must haves are 2 16x PCI-e slots overclockability as I will be overclocking.
Also need to have compatable memory for this setup budget of £500 for mobo and memory.
As I said I am thinking of the striker extreme but have read a lot of horror stories about its want for memory.
Thanks in advance.
Mods sorry if this is in wrong area but it is mainly about memory for mobo.
