Hi guys
well im currently using a celeron E3300 and a asrock g41m-gs mobo.... however i want to upgrade both and i was looking at the new sandybridge celeron G530 and a Asus P8H61 Intel H61 (Socket 1155) Motherboard ..... however with the price of AMD cpu,s looking good i am also considering a AMD Athlon II X3 Tri Core 455 with a Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2 (AM3) Motherboard
i was hoping to find a am3 motherboard that supports both ddr2 and ddr3 memory... however the only one i have found is the ASRock N68C-S UCC GeForce 7025... and from all accounts this has been experiencing problems of late
so which would be the better option..... AMD or intel .......

Is there a budget?

What PSU and case do you have?

Are your drives (HDD+optical) a SATA or IDE connection?

BUDGET..... £120
current psu is a OCZ 500w stealthstream and a NZXT M59 chassis ...... 2 x +12v rails (18A on each ) ..... using 2 x 320gb sata II HDD.. and a samsung ide dvdrw .....
i like the look of the celeron G530... however the x3 athlons seem to give you the most power for the least cash
