CPU Multiplier

Hi, i have a P5N-E SLI and a C2D 6600 @ 3Ghz (cant get any more atm) and i have a multiplier of 9, when i changed it to 10 in the bios i save the settings and on next boot it reverts it back to 9.

Am i doing something wrong? or not needing to increase the multiplier?

i got it on auto in the bios, but according to cpu-z its 1.392 (highest) shall i set it at 1.4 or something?

i have a Freezer 7 Pro and i got it to 3.4Ghz. Max load is late 50's :eek:

Also Orthos says its unstable.

right ok, well i got to 3Ghz to stable so ill take your advise onboard and see if i can get to 3.2 stable
