You running bf in vista or xp?

Only other thing I can think of is that the HSF isn't seated properly so your cpu is overheating when under load, such as in games. Have you run Orthos and Speedfan to check the temps?

Edit: just noticed screenshot :rolleyes:

E6600 Conroe (D TEK WATERCOOLED)
4x1GB of OCZ Plat rev 2 PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2
EVGA 680i P28 BIOS
WINDOWS XP
BFG 8800GTX (DANGER DEN WATERCOOLED)

I have left it at a very mild O/C for the time being , my Bios is the latest for my EVGA 680I board .

Your memory's running at 1.85 volts - if this is your memory;

http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_ddr2_pc2_6400_platinum_revision_2

It's supposed to run with 1.9 - 2.1 Volts (so say 2.0 volts).

It might not be the problem (it was the problem on my mates pc in the same situation though) but at least you'll know you have your RAM on the right voltage so you can take that out of the equation ;)

Also you wanna get your FSB:Memory ratio off 'sync mode', which I gather is a 1:1 ratio, and onto something like 'x1.33 multiplier', which would be 3:4 ratio. So your FSB at 300Mhz would then run your ram at ~400Mhz (which is what PC2-6400 ram is supposed to run at).

Sorry should have told you I am a complete NOOB , Vmch can you explain a litttle more please ?

yeah do the memory one first :p, but the Vmch i would say will be another problem as it was mine too. After i upped it games ran really smoothly for hours.
