CPU overclocking... Difference in game performance?

Curious if overclocking a CPU has any effect on in game performance.

I have a i5 2500k and a GTX670.

My previous build I had it at 4.5ghz. This, I've left as stock.

Discuss.....

It can have a very big difference in some games, not so much in others.

My OC to 4.3 made big difference in BF3 B2K maps.
