I've run into a strange problem with my new set up:
Intel CPU Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 95W Energy Efficient 2.4GHz SLACR G0 Stepping
Asus Motherboard P5K Intel P35 LGA775 ATX
Geil Ultra DDR2 2.0GB PC6400 Dual Channel memory kit (2 x 1GB) 800MHz (4-4-4-12)
Antec Sonata II
Corsair 520W
This doesn't happen all the time but every now and again the 1st core of the CPU spikes/peaks and the computer stops responding for a second or two then it's ok for a minute and then does it again until I restart.
Any ideas why?
