Has anyone ever managed to straighten bent pins?

I apparently have bent pisns on mines. i havent seen it yet to see how bad it is but has anyone ever managed to fix this,

I have managed to straighten the pins in a Common interface slot on a tv that are much the same so could this be possible

Dear lord of Technology i pray to thee that all is fixable.

i just dont want my 150quid new mobo to be a write off

My biggest concern is trying to see them, might see if i can get a realy good magnifying glass to see them, things r like genetal hairs

im just hoping that it is fixable and nothing else has been taken out with it.
Like capacitors and stuff.
Havent been able to test my RAM to see if its ok

Yeah it the LGA 775, im more than willing to give it a try if it breaks it breaks got it at the back of my mind its goosed anyway

What you think the chances of it being nackerd if the pins are straightened. would this also be the reason i was getting no signal on the gfx card

Nah, i straightened all the pins tonite and its still the same. go the pins perfect and all same hight but still no signal so rebuilt my old rig. ohh well nev mobo on payday

Wired my old system back up with everything new that i have, cant utalise the 4 sticks of ram as i only have two banks for it.

Second gfx card is sitting with its thumb up its bum in the box too, managed to get water cooling on tho
