CPU Serial Number Software?

Anyone know of a bit of software to grab serial numbers from CPU's?
I want to know the serials from a bunch of AMD machines ive just built and I really cant be arsed to rip all the heatsinks off to fine them! lol

Nah CPU-Z doesn't show serial for CPU's but it will for Memory...

Anyone else have an ideas?

i'm pretty sure you can't get it via software.

Wasnt there abit of huhar about it a few years ago so they turned off that feature? - maybe that was intel though, i cant quite remember.

exactly right. there was a privacy hoo-ha at Intel after they wrote this feature in and so they disabled it forever.

you might be able to get the CPU serial number from the bios, but that's unlikely at best. otherwise, you'll need to pop it out and read it off

Boooo, can't seem to find anything myself, heatsink off time I guess
