Just the mouse. Thought I'd fixed it when I changed the Speed and Acceleration setting in SetPoint to OS implementation rather than SetPoint implementation.
New PC btw. No hardware added since I installed Vista x64 Home Premium so I doubt its an IRQ problem. Any thoughts?
Any antivirus programs with on access scanning turned on that could be causing it? you dont have java installed and using up a shed load of memory do you?
also try connecting your mouse to a different port (so its running off a different bus or whatever)

Well...im probably not the best person to answer that, I have never and will never use AV on my home PC interferes with too much in my opinion, I keep spy ware checkers and immunizations all up to date and only ever go on the same set 5 websites so don't really see the need.... as well as the fact that if I get a virus 99% of the time ill just reinstall windows anyway instead of faffing about getting rid of it. (i could go on for ages explaining my reasons etc but im just going to run away now before people have a go at me )
Can understand people using it when they have work and other critical things on their PCs though
