CPU Temp & Vista

Is there a CPU temp monitor that will work with Vista.

Ive tried both core and and TAT, both wont work atall !

Everest works nicely on V64. I can't get the others to work either, fwiw.

What sort of error do you get? iirc you may need to run them under Admin mode, (right click icon and select run as admin)

Coretemp works in Vista 64 for me if I press F8 on boot, select “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” and make sure that coretemp is set to run as Administrator.

I would get TAT working as Everest is not that good with temps.
Just turn off driver signing.

I use Evererst Ultimate Ed. w/Vista 64 whats the issue with temps :confused:

Sorry m8 but you are talking out of your behind there.

There is no issue with Everest at all, it reads temps just as accurate as CoreTemp. Everest also reads temps fine in Vista x86 and x64.

Well it gets my GPU(8800) wrong, it says it lower by 6c
It gets my volts wrong on my cd2 mine is 1.056v and ever says 1.2v

maybe its my setup..but TAT and CPU-Z say the same and does
ATITOOL and RT say the same for my 8800gts.

as i say i am not talking out of my bum...

Please do a screenshot showing all the programs reporting different temps so we can see the problem. Also the latest release version of Everest isn't always accurate with C2D core temps as it doesn't always use the correct the TjunctionMax. The later beta versions do though.
