CPU TEMP VS CORE TEMP

what I'm saying is IGNORE the cpu temp. God knows what its reporting but its nothing you need to worry about. Your cores are the true temp you need to think about.

40s is quite high tbh.. what cooler?

Load is more important anyway what does it top out at? and whats the speed/vcore?

no, one is lying. Its the same thing, your cpu is made of one or more cores so your cpu is your core.

No, they aren't the same thing. CPU temp is the tCase temp....core temp are the temps of the cores (duh).

When intel gives its temp rating it's for tCase....the actual core temp limit is much higher

yeah I misunderstood the question tbh, I thought it was like speedfan reporting cpu and everest reporting cores.

yes but its still irrelevant load is the concern but just be aware.

budget watercooling makes the baby jesus cry :)

the aquagate is nowhere near as good as top end air.
