Ok I just finished cleaning my case (dam lot of dust). Anyways I have become a little concerned with my cpu temp.

I have never ever seen cpu temp below my motherboard temp. Is this right?

The cpu is averaging 27-28 idle yet the motherboard is averaging 29-30. Bios is also reporting the same thing. How is the sensor done and could I have damaged it? Before i cleaned it was idle at 33-34.

under load hitting 38-40

CPU is amd Phenom II BE 965

Temps looks fine :)

The cpu temps will be taken from sensors within the cpu and the motherboard may be on the Northbridge chip.

Can't see the image as it's too small!

Edit: larger pic :)

those temps are absolutely fine mate, 62c is the max TDP of these chips so once its getting to the top end of the 50's then i would start to worry :)

Yeh the temps seem fine I was just a little worried as I have never seen them go below the temp of the motherboard before and thinking I may have broken the sensor or something when cleaning it.
