CPU Temperature help needed

So my CPU fan had a lot of dust on it, SpeedFan displayed 65c steady while running things like Tera Online for core0/1 (I have a duo), now after cleaning all the dust out today it's showing temperatures of 70-80c with nothing running, this is worrying me...

What could have gone wrong and what to do? Didn't touch the paste or anything so that should be fine, didn't even detach anything just used cotton swabs to pick up dust, if anything it's a little looser than before but that wouldn't make the difference or would it? The fan it's self seems to be running just fine...

It's an Intel i3 @ 2.93GHz, NOT overclocked at all
cooler is artic arctic freezer 7 pro

CPU is the only temp that is alarming, everything else is fine

Would appreciate help asap

Erm, fixed, I'm a noob worrying about nothing... Apologies ^^

Well not about nothing, I just don't know how to really mess with pc hardware and after cleaning it the heatsink wasn't quite touching, fiddled with it and temps are now back to normal

Personally i never use speedfan.
i use either Realtemp or Coretemp,

what temps are you getting now?

Be carefull as the heatsink may not be clipped in properly and could come away and damage the CPU. Make sure the heatsink clips are fully pressed in and give it a little pull just to make sure (not to hard though).
