Cpu underside discoloured

Sorry guys i was asking a question on the cpu i mentioned no names and this is not the thread to mention names in or talk about the mm dispute i was simply asking people opinion on the underside of the cpu.

FWIW I can see absolutely nothing wrong with either of the images posted to suggest that is the reason for it being faulty.

Both the seller and the buyer have great selling feedback, and have been on the forum for a long time, sometimes when you do sell things known to be working they can simply fail when received at the other end. It happens with brand new kit DOA or fail within a short period of time and so it happens with second hand goods.
Good that you have taken it to a dispute thread but try and work together for a positive outcome. The seller wants a sale and the buyer wants a CPU.

Intel should provide a replacement CPU under their excellent warranty scheme.

When I sent the pics I did say that the camera on my phone isn't showing it well. It just looks like a used CPU but there wasn't any marking before I sent it and I've been told it was DOA but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Hopefully intel will replace it and all we'll be sorted out
