CPU Upgrade advice

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU. I built my PC in 2020 and have only upgraded the GPU. My budget is £200-£300.
I'm unsure whether my Motherboard is compatible with newer CPUs.

I've put my PC Specs below. Any other recommendations are welcome

Motherboard: ASROCK B550M-ITX/ac

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor, 3593 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060

RAM: 16GB

Storage: 1TB SSD

PSU: SuperNOVA 550 GM80Plus GoldPSU

What games/resolution do you play at?

Considering the graphics card you have, arguable if worth bothering, though would be some benefit in newer games and esports.

I usually play on 1920x1080

I’ve been seeing dips on oblivion remaster, space marines and helldivers 2.

Best one worth upgrading to is the 5700x3d while they are still in stock. If your games use the extra cache it can make a huge difference but should help especially in 1% lows making your gaming feel smoother overall.
