CPU upgrade from 9700k?

After a small hiccup of no power or booting, thanks to the forum we have life.

I love the heatsink, it’s huge and looks great in black. The fans were an absolute arse to attach to it though.



The H9 flow is an epic case, so glad I went for that too. A very last minute decision.

Just need to turn these fans down now as combined they are pushing noise levels a tad. I also have a rattle that I need to get to the bottom of.

Reviving this slightly, I’ve finally put Helldivers down long enough to try Avatar and Starfield, games that I had also played on my 9700K along with the 7900XTX. It’s made a huge diffeeence, I’ve gone from 4K 80fps or so to an almost locked 120fps. That’s a great result. Loading times are far improved too, possibly helped by upgraded storage too.
