CPU Upgrade needed!

The little extra would make a big difference and would mean you could go a lot longer without the need to upgrade again. It's economic sense to do so. If you can stretch a little you will be glad.

Sell your old stuff to make up the extra £44.47

Hard to find reviews ATM but...

4.8ghz overclocked FX8320 vs 3.9ghz skylake, intel kills it still. I'd bet the i5 6400 3.3ghz beats it too.

The i5 6600 (none K) is also available quite cheap now too. That would probably fit in your budget if you sell your old stuff.

Plus you get to have DDR4, the latest intel socket and not investing in some old socket.

That board is DDR3 not DDR4. The 4690k/Gigabyte Z97-SLI bundle makes more sense to me as it can be overclocked.

That is an excellent option. Will see you good for a while and will outperform any amd cpu. Source: myself owning both an 8350 and a 4690k.

Edit: also that bundle is a great deal and is a solid mobo. Also coupled with the great ocuk service you can't go wrong.

would i use the stock cooler?

The stock cooler is fine for stock clocks. But can be a little loud on load. It's personal preference here or if you are over clocking then a decent air cooler like the cooler master 412S or an aio water cooler would do the trick.
