CPU Upgrade Time (From i7 920...)

Ok I will do the switch-a-roo tonight and confirm i7 920 still works, and reseat the x5660 and will see what happens. If it doesn't work I will return as faulty via the bay of e's
 
I have got it working, no idea what I did... Got home from work turned it on and it was fine! Was only recognising 4/6 sticks of ram but reseated those and it was fine. It is currently running RealBench with it clocked to 4.2GHz. Current temps are around 56C
 
Who knows, I guess it is just one of those things! It is sitting stable at 4.4GHz (21x 210MHz 1.375v) having run realbench and prime95. Max temp on core0 is 69C all others average 61C or so. I am going to re-TIM after all the moving around and hope that sorts that out.
