Hi,
i have a amd athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 4200+, with a asus m2n-sli deluxe am2 motherboard and a geforce 9600gt graphic card.
I'm looking to upgrade the cpu to a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Socket AM2 (2.7GHz) 1MB L2 Cache OEM Processor,
for gaming just to give me a little bit extra power on games like arma 2 (where i have to play with all the setting on low and still get jerky screen movement at times).
Would i notice any difference and is it as simple as just taking the old chip out and placing the new one in or will i have to format the hd for the new chip to be recognised.
Thanks for anyhelp.
