Currently have a Q6600 clocked at 3.2GHz, and love it to bits.
Is there any real advantge for me to move to something else like these new i7s or i5s?
I primarily play games, and general word processing, light excel spreadsheets, surfing the net etc...
I realise games like Crysis do utilise multi cores but I was just wondering what other perceived benefits (which can be seen) would I get out of going from Q6600 to something else?
And one final question. Q9750 vs Q6600, what are the main differences in a nutshell? Would appreciate any relevant feedback!
TIA
