this is what happened to this CPU after he followed the hammer advice ...I don't think he can RMA it now tho.

To get my intel Cpu to fit in my amd motherboard, i selotaped it to a bird and sacrificed it within the walls of machu picchu.

I hate shops that do this. Probably sold it "cheap" as it was last year's model.
