the OP has to be so stoned out of his skull surely, either that or just shouldn't be allowed, by law to go next to another computer component as long as he or she lives. :confused:

I think someone should report him to the (CHLA) computer hardware licensing authority
 
this is what happened to this CPU after he followed the hammer advice ...I don't think he can RMA it now tho. :D

To get my intel Cpu to fit in my amd motherboard, i selotaped it to a bird and sacrificed it within the walls of machu picchu.

worked a charm, bit of blood. But thats what you expect from being a novice.
 
You were scammed OP, 2011 socket only works in 2011, duh. Everyone knows that, so you're out of luck. You could try hypnosis, convince the 2011 CPU that it's a 2012.

Because it requires a small adaptor. I can sell it for very optimistic price of 150 quids only, it's special offer od the day, especially for you.
