CPU Z problem or?

I've been overclocking my q6660, When I load up CPU z when it is reading my settings its saying its running at 2gig and 6x multiplier and it jumps up to 3gig at 9x multi? any reason why it is doing this?

Ive got it set to 9x at 3 gig in bios? is it a fault with CPU Z?

no its intel speedstep

e1st and c1e disabled to turn off

Yep Intel speedstep.
Idles at 6 x multiplier, when stressed raises to default multiplier.
